Is It Time to Get Your Road Test?   (Only Road Test Business in the area with an office and waiting area)

In Michigan, driving skills test services are provided through a statewide network of approved public and private organizations that employ examiners authorized by the Department to conduct driving skills tests.

Third party testing organizations provide Michigan residents with test sites throughout the state. Most organizations offer expanded testing hours, including weekends.

Kenney Company Proficiency Testing – provides the driving tests for a Michigan driver’s license and motorcycle endorsement.

If you are under the age of 18 you need to bring:

Level 1 Learner’s License –  NO PHOTO COPY  (must have driven on it for 6 months)

Segment 2 card

Proof of insurance for the vehicle you will be driving

Proof of registration for the vehicle you will be driving

Legal Guardian – NO PASSENGERS

or an adult with note giving permission to go on road test and that the student has completed 50+ hours of driving

Driving log or NO TEST !!!

If you are 18 or older you need to bring:

Michigan Temporary Permit  ( NO PHOTO COPY )

Proof of Insurance for the vehicle you will be driving

Proof of Registration for the vehicle you will be driving

Horn

Turn signals ( front and back )

Headlights and Tail lights

Mirrors ( rear view and outside left )

safety belts

No major cracks in front window ( Obstructing drivers view )

Wipers and washer

speedometer

fuel in tank

NO RENTAL CARS – unless rented by person driving the car. ( international license )
